Pricing
Believe it: a professionally-designed CMS-driven website can be affordable.
At Techspeed, we're committed to making these services possible for statewide,
legislative, and local candidates. While the rule-of-thumb is 3-5% of
your campaign budget, we've always come in way under that.
Every project gets an original quote, so we can't give you a price here.
Pricing is based on the size of the campaign (because that drives traffic,
which drives our hosting cost), the amount of consulting we anticipate
doing, some up-front costs (like setup and design), and a monthly fee
for maintenance.
We'll work with you to figure out which of our services make sense for
your campaign and then provide a quote. One rock-solid commitment: we
never bill over our quote. Period. If you suggest something that changes
the project scope, we'll ask you to approve a new quote. No surprises.

eBuild :
eBuild allows you to create a beautiful, powerful, and easy-to-maintain
website using the unique technology we developed to build powerful media
impact.
eBuild is designed to meet the needs of publishers who want to focus on
content, not technology:
• HTML-free publishing. You do not need to know any HTML to create
and maintain an outstanding Web site. If you can use Microsoft Word, you
can master eBuild.
• Server-based content management. All of your content - and your
images - are stored on our server. This lets you work from any computer
without having to worry about where your files are stored. It also lets
multiple editors work on the site at the same time, all under your control.
• Instantaneous news publishing on your Web site. You can update
the news section of your Web site instantaneously, so your content is
always up-to-the-minute.
• Daily news publishing via e-mail. You can send each day's news
to your subscribers via e-mail. This is the most powerful way to reach
a large audience, because only a small part of your audience will visit
your site each day.
• Powerful e-mail newsletter formatting. You can send your newsletter
in simple text or fancy HTML, according to the preferences of each subscriber.
• Newsletter advertising insertions. Newsletter ads are the hottest
trend in Internet marketing, and you can profit by inserting ads between
your news items.
• Cold Fusion "plug-ins". eBuild is written in Cold Fusion,
the most advanced and flexibly programming environment on the Internet.
There are hundreds of independently-developed turn-key programs that can
be "plugged in" to your eBuild site to add depth and "stickiness"
to your site. Tell us what you need, and we'll try to find a turn-key
system that is ready to use today. And if we can't find it, we can develop
it for you.

eList Call for Quote:
E-mail is the most powerful political tool ever invented. Compare e-mail
with direct mail, telemarketing, or broadcast advertising, and you'll
see what we mean!
Here are some of the sources we can put at your disposal to generate new
names, all permission-based:
• Republican Activists: eCampaign Manager has the largest national
network of Republican activists, with over 80,000 subscribers. We can
target this list by zip code to find the most dedicated Republican activists
in your area. And we'll even send a personal endorsement on your behalf!
We can also target national organizations and publications, including
liberals, environmentalists and feminists, which have total lists in the
millions.
• Your Supporters: You already have a mailing list of past supporters.
We can find opt-in e-mail addresses for approximately 25% of those names.
You can use this list for fundraising, volunteer recruitment, and anything
else you need!
• Donor Prospects: If you have mailing lists of donor prospects,
we can find opt-in e-mail addresses for these individuals as well. You
can get these lists from supporting candidates and organizations, or from
list brokers. Once again, we will match approximately 25% of these names,
and you can use this list for fundraising, volunteer recruitment, and
anything else you need!
• Targeted Voters: If you have mailing lists of targeted voters,
we can find opt-in e-mail addresses for these individuals as well. You
can get voter lists from your Board of Elections, Republican Party officials,
other candidates, and voter list vendors. You can usually target by geography,
party, gender, age, ethnicity, and voting history (such as prime voters,
general election regulars, and infrequent voters).
These are some of the reasons to use targeted opt-in e-mail:
• E-mail is inexpensive. Once you build your e-mail list, you can
use it as often as you like, for practically no cost.
• E-mail is fast. When something important happens in your campaign,
you can get the word out immediately.
• E-mail is easy. Just type a message and press send. What could
be easier?
• E-mail is preferred. Most voters hate political telemarketing
and junk mail, and would much rather receive opt-in e-mail from a candidate
they support.
• E-mail is interactive. Your recipients can take action immediately,
including making a contribution or signing up to volunteer.
• E-mail is viral. Your recipients can forward your messages to
all of their friends.
• E-mail is sophisticated. You can get fancy with HTML e-mails that
look like Web pages, or even send streaming audio and video messages.
eList costs $X for every opt-in e-mail address we deliver, with a minimum
order of 5,000. Compare that to the cost of direct mail - you'll quickly
make your $X investment back on the savings from 2 First Class letters,
or 4 bulk mail letters.
And after a few mailings, there's an excellent chance you'll convert the
recipient into a volunteer and a donor. You simply can't get this kind
of response from direct mail, telephone, or broadcast advertising.
eContact:
Does your Internet campaign strategy begin - and end - with your Web site?
Then you are missing the true power of the Internet - e-mail.
Most people will visit your Web site only once. But e-mail allows you
to establish an ongoing relationship, which will quickly produce results
that count - in time, money, and votes.
• Time: Your Internet supporters will give you their time. They
will participate in your events, help you spread your message to their
friends, call talk shows, work in your headquarters, and other specific
tasks that you need.
• Money: Your Internet supporters will contribute money. In fact,
Internet donors give nearly twice as much as direct mail donors, both
because they are more affluent and because credit card giving is less
"painful."
• Votes: Your Internet supporters will vote for you. They will feel
a "personal" connection to the campaign, because they have had
an ongoing relationship. If needed, you can help them register and vote
by absentee ballot. As Election Day approaches, you can send numerous
GOTV reminders. And they can forward these reminders to their friends,
creating a "multiplier effect."
Until now, there was no way to conduct a large-scale voter contact program
using e-mail. That is why eCampaign Manager has developed eContact, a
tool for Internet-enabled voter contact that is designed to pay for itself
through increased contributions.

eMarketing:
Get off the telephone and onto the Internet. Are you making dozens of almost
identical telephone calls every night to staff and key volunteers? Are you
using individual e-mail messages to collect data from them and then laboriously
entering it by hand into a database? With a simple yet effective secure
Web site, people doing advance work, or event organizing or press can do
more than just get e-mails from campaign managers and the candidate. Campaign
staff can actively share documents, data and image files including: draft
versions of press releases, internal polling data, assignment lists for
senior staff. Your campaign staff can jointly use key databases, including:
a volunteer database and an internal calendar for scheduled events. Your
intranet can also be used for internal services such as: the submission
and consideration of scheduling requests, volunteer labor requests, scheduling
candidate surrogates available to cover for the candidate when he or she
is unavailable.
